The story behind the painting
This painting came about unexpectedly – as an imprint of layers of paint that were originally meant to be just leftovers from another work. In their spontaneous movement a heron appeared, quiet and natural, as if it had been waiting in the painting from the very beginning.
The heron is a symbol of calm, patience and inner balance. It can stand motionless in the middle of moving water and wait with certainty for the right moment. It is a reminder of the power of silence, of intuition and of the ability to find direction even in chaos.
The painting tells us that beauty often arises where we least expect it – the moment we stop pushing and allow things to be born on their own.
