The story behind the painting
How to look at the painting:
From afar – the whole painting as a landscape. Warm colours at the top – green, ochre. Cool blue at the bottom. Like a path from the shore into the depths of the sea.
Up close – choose one of the sixteen windows. Each one is a different small world. Here a shell, there a jellyfish or seaweed.
Closest of all – the golden lines. They connect all those small worlds together like a web. When light falls on them, they shine.
That is all. You do not need to search for what it means – just let the colour and the line guide you.
