The story behind the painting
It comes quietly.
Sometimes with a smile held up only by willpower. And yet it can be heard.
That gentle trembling.
A heart hanging by a thread.
Behind the door the world remains – loud, sharp, merciless.
Here a frame is created, a space that can hold pain.
In the middle of it, the heart begins to speak.
Not with a scream.
Rather with the cracking of old fissures, the whisper of old wounds,
tears that do not want to be brave.
It hangs on thin threads of hope.
And yet it does not fall.
Because someone is holding the space.
Holding the silence.
Holding safety.
And within that frame the heart slowly learns that it does not have to hang forever.
That it can grow again,
be seen, be heard…
